Make it three scholarship offers for Mesquite (Texas) North Mesquite cornerback Larry Rosebud. The 5-foot-10, 170-pounder is quickly becoming a top target in the Metroplex.
The first two came from Baylor and Florida. Now, another Big 12 team has jumped him the mix. The humble Rosebud is excited, but not yet ready to make any sort of decision.
"Kansas just offered a few weeks ago, I like it," Rosebud said. "Any offer I get at this point, I'm excited about."
Rosebud said that Florida, Baylor, and Oklahoma State are his current favorites. Since going to the OSU junior day, that is one school he's gotten to know.
"The graduation percentages are great at all of those schools," Rosebud said. "But, I met the coaches when I went there and I really like them."
Rosebud said that his interest in the Gators is due to the area that they're in.
"I'm trying to get out there this summer and that's really all I've got planned," Rosebud said. "I'm also trying to hit some camps but I don't know which ones yet."
His step-brother Richetti Jones is going through quite the recruiting process with numerous scholarship offers. The two ending up at the same place is something Rosebud wants to do.
"We're trying to do it," he said. "I really don't know that we've talked about specific schools together though."
