Rose hoping for big season

Miami (Fla.) Carol City almost has always at least one prospect in the Rivals 100. This year the Indians don't have any headlining recruits, but that doesn't mean there isn't a prospect on the roster. Linebacker Peter Rose is looking to turn some heads this fall.
"I don't have any offers right now, but Louisville, Florida and Nebraska are all sending me mail and stuff," Rose said. "Florida Atlantic, Florida International and Central Florida are all sending me some stuff too."

The 6-foot, 187-pound Rose attended the NIKE camp in Miami where he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.66 seconds, the shuttle in 4.06 seconds and posted a 35-inch vertical jump.
"Right now my top schools would be Florida, Florida State, Miami, Georgia, Michigan State, Ole Miss, NC State and some others, but those are the main ones," Rose said. "I think some schools may have come by in the fall, but I didn't get to talk to them. Coach Frazier is real strict about who lets us talk to and stuff."
As a junior Rose collected 75 tackles, 14 tackles for loss and five sacks. He accumulated 30 tackles, one interception and one sack as a sophomore.
"I would like to stay in Florida if I could," Rose said. "I want to have the chance to play early wherever I go and I also want to get a good education."
