"Ohio State, LSU, Florida, Illinois, and North Carolina are on top," Rose said. "I don't know man, I've just got a vibe about those schools – it's just a really good feeling."
Rose, coming from the talent-rich high school of Glenville, that has tradition for miles under coach Ted Ginn Sr. has plenty of background to be one of the top Division I targets not only in Ohio but in the country.
He also benefited from his high school by taking part in the football team road trip which allowed numerous teammates of his to check out numerous schools across the country.
"It was different because there were schools that you may not have had much interest in, but then you start to see stuff you like," Rose said about the trip. "We went to so many camps, hit all those places, it was great."
As for a decision, that will depend on when he decides to make it.
"Well, if I am part of the Army All-American game then I'll announce my decision at that time, but if not it will be on Signing Day," Rose said.
One thing will be a huge factor in his final decision.
"Education is the most important thing in all this recruiting stuff," he said. "I'm thinking about my major right now with a possibility of sports management so I want to see what the schools have to offer me in that."
As for Rose being included in the first release of the Rivals250, he had one way to describe the feeling.
"I'm honored, I really am honored receiving a title like that in a group of talented guys," he said.
