Rory Johnson close to decision
Four-star Vicksburg (Miss.) linebacker Rory Johnson should be nearing a decision, according to his high school coach.
“Rory just got back in from Nebraska this today,” Vicksburg coach Alonzo Stevens said. “I haven’t had a chance to catch up with him yet to see how everything went, but before he left, I know he felt like this visit was going to determine where he was going.

“Nebraska was way out in front before the coaching change. But the linebackers coach and defensive coordinator who were recruiting him aren’t there anymore, so I’m not sure how comfortable he’ll be with the new guys. But I know he was excited about going out there.
“I’d say that Nebraska is still in a pretty good spot, with Ole Miss and Mississippi State neck-and-neck right behind them. I think he may have a decision sometime tonight.”
Johnson (6-2, 215, 4.4) is rated the No. 10 outside linebacker in the nation by Rivals.com.
