Roman Catholic QB claims two offers

Philadelphia (Pa.) Roman Catholic has gotten a lot of attention this year due to Rivals250 safety Nick Moody, who committed to Florida State. The school features at least one other Division I prospect in 6-foot-1, 205-pound quarterback Chris Johnson.
"I've got offers from Temple and Buffalo so far," he said. "Both of them came in May. Buffalo has told me I can play as a freshman as soon as I get there. They are definitely one of my top schools. I'm always going to keep Temple in consideration too since they are my home school."

Johnson believes one more school may offer in the near future.
"I'm going to Boston College for camp this summer either in late June or early July," he stated. "The coaches there have basically said that they'll offer me once I come up to the school. If they do in fact offer, they'd be my top school.
"A good friend of mine, Nick Moody committed to FSU and that means I'd get to play against him every year. It also means I'd get to play in the ACC which has some top competition. That's what I want, the chance to get exposure every week."
With a possible favorite in the Eagles, could Johnson commit if he lands an offer on his visit?
"I'd have to visit Buffalo first and then choose from there," he said. "I don't really know what I'd do because there will be more schools that'll offer me during the season. My decision would likely be between Buffalo and Boston College."
Johnson talked more about what interest him in the Bulls.
"They play in the MAC which isn't bad competition," he said. "I know their coach played quarterback in college too, so he'd be able to use my athletic ability by moving me around, running the option and that sort of stuff. I do like the fact I can play right away too. That's what everyone wants."
Other schools are looking at the Keystone State prospect too including Michigan State, Villanova, Rutgers and Connecticut.
Last season Johnson threw for 1,050 yards and accounted for 14 touchdowns to seven interceptions. He earned all-Catholic honors.
