Rolle ready for last trip

Princeton (N.J.) The Hun School athlete Myron Rolle has been very consistent and thorough in his approach to recruiting. The same six teams have been on his list, with each having a good chance at landing the standout defensive back, for the last few months. Rolle wanted to see every school on his list completely, the reason he has one trip left this weekend.
"I'm going to Florida State from Friday to Saturday and to Florida from Saturday to Sunday," said the 6-foot-2, 214-pounder. "I've been to a game at Florida State but I wanted to go back and have more time to see everything and ask more questions. The gameday atmosphere at FSU is great, but I want to look at them more in-depth.

"We figured while we were down there, we'd go to Gainesville again as well. My brother didn't get to see Florida the last time we went and I want him to see it because this is a family decision and his opinion is important to me."
Rolle, who also lists Oklahoma, Michigan, Miami and Penn State to round out his final six, isn't sure when a decision will be made.
"This will be the last trip," he said. "But our season doesn't start until the middle of September. I want to be decided by then. Hopefully I'll know by the end of August."
Rolle has been keeping busy the last month.
"Our team had a 7-on-7 tournament against Woodrow Wilson and another team and then we went against Don Bosco," he said. "Woodrow Wilson has some talented players like Andrey Baskin and Antwine Perez. I covered Andrey man-to-man and in zone coverage which was good for me because he's as good a wide receiver as I'm going to face this year. I didn't go against Antwine, but he's a good player.
"Facing Bosco was good too because I got to go against Ryan Lindsey (Boston College commitment) and he's very fast. Both were good situations for me because going against top players pushes you and makes you better."
Rolle is being recruited as a safety by some schools and as a cornerback by others.
"Oklahoma wants me to be a safety in the mold of Roy Williams and FSU says safety too," he explained. "The rest say either cornerback or safety. I don't have a preference really."
The obvious question everyone is asking is...
"No, there's no leader," he said. "All six teams are even until I get to sit down and really figure things out after this trip."
Rolle is ranked as the No. 1 player in New Jersey and as the No. 1 athlete in the country. He was named as the Newark Star Ledger Defensive Player of the Year as a junior.
