Roland Martin makes one last visit

Despite the fact that Signing Day is just days away, Sharon Wardell noticed that her phone was quiet over the last few days.

Wardell is the mother of four star ranked offensive tackle prospect

Roland Martin from Chicago Harper High School, and the quiet was a much needed break for Wardell and ther family.

"The last week or so it's been crazy. The phone hasn't stopped ringing at all. It was almost strange how quiet it was yesterday though so we all got a break from the calls. I guess alot of coaches are maybe at the Super Bowl or something?"

According to Wardell, Roland Martin was still flying back from his last official visit today. "Roland made an official visit to North Carolina State this weekend. Roland has a special relationship with NC State offensive line Coach (Mike) Berry since his freshman year when they met at a summer camp, and they just really get along very well and Roland decided to visit NC State."

According to Wardell, don't expect for Martin to make his decision until Signing Day this Wednesday. "I don't even know where he's heading yet. Roland has kept his decision very private and I still don't know where he's heading. Roland is going to make his announcement on Signing Day at the ESPNZone in Chicago, but I'm still trying to get all of the details."

So does Mom have a favorite? "I've been keeping pretty quiet on everything. I have some concerns but this is Roland's decision, and I decided awhile ago that I'm just going to support whatever decision he makes."
