Rogers garnering attention

As of midnight on Sept. 1, college coaches were allowed to reach out to Class of 2017 prospects on social media and send them correspondence through mail. Thousands of prospects coast to coast are checking their physical and digital mailboxes to see which college is trying to recruit them. Las Vegas (Nev.) Centennial defensive tackle Greg Rogers, a Rivals250 prospect, is one of them.

HEARD FROM: Arizona State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Texas A&M, USC and Washington.
WHAT'S NEXT?: Rogers intends to take some visits in October and November to see some of the schools that have offered. Arizona, Arizona State and UCLA are strong possibilities, Rogers said, and there could be other trips in the works as more coaches start reaching out. The four-star prospect camped with Alabama this summer and holds offers from 10 programs.
