Rodriguez sets up in-state visit
Hacienda Hts (Calif.) Los Altos athlete Raymond Rodriguez took his first official visit this past weekend to Louisiana Tech. Rodriguez also picked up a new offer and set up two more trips for January.
Rodriguez, 6-2, 240 pounds is a talented player being recruited at multiple positions. The trip to La. Tech was his first and one he enjoyed very much.

"I really liked it out there," Rodriguez said. "It was different but I thought the trip was great. The people there were incredible and I really liked all the coaches and players. I was very comfortable and it's a place that I could definitely see myself at.
"San Diego State just recently offered me and I set up a visit there for (Jan. 18). I was excited about that one because it's an in-state school and I'm looking forward to checking them out. I moved up my visit to Nevada from the 18th to (Jan. 11) so that should be fun as well.
"There are a few other schools still talking with me but those are the main ones I'm looking at right now. Louisiana Tech is recruiting me as an H-back and some of the other schools like me as a tight end or fullback but it's all fine with me."
