Rodgers ready to hit the road again

After taking a visit to a few schools out in California late last year, junior offensive lineman Khaliel Rodgers of Bear (Del.) Red Lion Christian Academy took a step back and enjoyed the holidays. Now he is back on the grind and ready to prove to everyone that he is one of the top junior offensive linemen in the region.
"Things have been going excellent," said Rodgers. "A lot of schools are getting more in contact. Some have come down to the school, talked and reviewed film. I believe I picked up some more schollies, but I don't know for sure since I gotta ask my coach."

Rodgers, 6-foot-3 and 300-pounds, listed a few of the schools that have come through Red Lion Christian Academy during the last month.
"Rutgers comes by a lot to visit," said Rodgers. "Virginia, Pitt, Coach Thigpen from Auburn came back up to review my film, Maryland, Oregon and Oklahoma have been to school."
Rodgers took two recent visits and will soon hit the road once again.
"USC and UCLA has been it, but I'm going to start back up in February with the schools," said Rodgers. "I will be attending a camp down in LSU. Also West Virginia, Clemson, South Carolina and maybe another. I don't know yet."
Aside from his visits, Rodgers discussed how he plans to spend his off-season.
"I'll be back at it, like my last off-season, but twenty times harder," said Rodgers. "I'm really making a statement that I'm, without a doubt, a five-star player. I'm aiming for even more exposure."
