Rodgers closing in on more offers

Four-star offensive lineman Khaliel Rodgers of Bear (Del.) Red Lion Christian Academy has three early offers and is looking forward to receiving more.
West Virginia, Connecticut and Temple have already extended scholarship offers to the offensive lineman. Rodgers spoke about his recruitment and which schools he thinks might offer him next.

"I'm slowly picking up more and more offers," explained the 6-foot-3, 300-pound Rodgers. "I talked to a coach at Penn State and he told me they're reviewing my film so I'm waiting to hear back from them. I've got a really good relationship with the coaches down at Auburn. I believe they're having some coaching changes so I'm not sure what's going on down there, but we have a good relationship. Recruitment is going well and I think I'm headed in the right direction."
Rodgers, who is listed by Rivals as the 102nd overall prospect in the country, is in contact with many schools but a few stick out in his mind.
"I talk a lot with Miami, Penn State, Maryland and Auburn along with the schools that have offered me," he said. "Miami wants me to come down for a visit. I don't know when that would be, but we'll see how things go. Also, I plan to go to West Virginia's spring game in April and Ohio State in May."
With more and more schools coming his way, Rodgers was asked if he currently had any favorites.
"It's hard to say right now," he said. "I'm still wide open and I couldn't name my top schools yet."
