WHAT'S NEXT?: The first offer from Oregon could open up things further for Roddick, a 6-foot-5, 330-pound mauler, and he's already receiving plenty of other interest. The Ventura St. Bonaventure standout said UCLA, Nevada, Washington, Washington State, Notre Dame, Miami and Boston College are all involved. More offers could definitely be coming soon.
IN HIS WORDS: "I previously met coach (Steve) Greatwood three weeks ago and then just (when I landed the offer) I was in touch with him."
RIVALS' REACTION: Oregon is definitely a huge offer and it's something Roddick will consider as his recruitment continues. Even at his size, Roddick moves well and he's a tough inside blocker so the Ducks could be a nice fit. But many others could get involved in his recruitment so things are just getting started.
