If you walk down to the football offices at this time of year one thing is certain. There is always a college football coach sitting down with head coach Tony Severino.
Hord had set his first two visits a couple weeks ago to Notre Dame (Dec. 3) and Missouri (Dec. 10). But that has changed.
“The only visit D.J. has set for sure is K-State on the 10th,” Severino said. “After that it is all up in the air. Things are changing all the time and he’s pretty open.”
With Notre Dame waiting to announce a new staff that was the key factor in Hord not making his trip this weekend.
Smith, an athletic defensive end, who projects as a linebacker has now scheduled two official visits.
“He is going to Boston College (Dec. 10) and then to Kansas (Dec. 17),” Severino said. “Those are the only two that I can tell you are set for certain.”
