There wasn't much news shaking on Phillip Strozier. The Rockhurst cornerback as of Monday had yet to set an official visit. It seemed like things were moving slowly.
But that all changed late Tuesday night.

"He committed to the University of Kansas," said Rockhurst head coach Tony Severino. "We talked yesterday and he told me he just felt comfortable with them. They have done a good job of recruiting our school."
Although Strozier hasn't made an official visit to Lawrence Severino said he has attended games there this year. Severino said Kansas coach Dave Doeren and Mark Mangino have recruited Rockhurst and done well with Rockhurst players.
"I think Phil can play two or three different positions at Kansas," Severino said. "They will find the right spot for him. I think he's got a chance to very good."
Severino said Strozier will take his official visit to Kansas on Dec. 9. The Jayhawks already had a commitment from Sal Capra at Rockhurst.
