Rocket armed QB getting looks

There is a strong armed quarterback at Victor College in Victorville, Calif., who is getting looks by D-I schools in Dylan Lockwood (6-4, 190, 4.8). Not much was known about this three-sport in high school, but the word is getting out about his ability.
Lockwood is a local kid who came out of Victorville (Calif.) Silverado high school where he was a three sport letterman.

“Dylan has incredible arm strength,” Victor Valley College head coach Dave Hoover said. “When Dylan is good, he’s as good as it gets.”
“Dylan has tremendous upsides,” Hoover said. “His understanding of the game has dramatically increased over his two years in our program.”
Lockwood is coming into his own as a football player whose best days on the gridiron are ahead of him.
Lockwood currently leads his conference in passing yardage per game. He presently averages over 300 yards per game.
In six games, Lockwood has thrown for 1,879 yards and 14 touchdowns but he thrown a has a hefty number of 12 interceptions. Don’t let his interception numbers mislead you, five of those came in one game.
Schools like Marshall, Idaho State, USC and Oregon have expressed an interest in Lockwood.
Lockwood is also a talented baseball player who throws a fastball in the 90’s. He could see recruiting action for his skills in that sport as well.
Lockwood will be a June grad and has 3x2 eligibility.
