Rocker ready for visits

Taveres Fla., running back Dominique Rocker has quietly become a hot commodity among college coaches. He has picked up several impressive scholarship offers and has already taken his first official visit with three others on the horizon.
"I took my visit to Iowa State in December and that went pretty well," Rocker said. "I am visiting Louisville on the 7th, South Florida on the 14th and Central Florida on the 21st. I really don't have a leader or anything I am just waiting to see what the other schools have to offer since I have only taken one of my visits so far."

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Rocker runs the 40-yard dash in 4.6 seconds, has a 285-pound bench press and 495-pound squat.
"As far as I know I still have a Florida offer on the table," Rocker said. "Coach Zaunbrecher was recruiting me and now he is not there anymore so I'm not sure what's going to happen. They were sending me letters telling me that when the program gets set back up and stuff they would continue recruiting me. I still talk to them pretty much every week."
As a junior Rocker rushed for 1,372 yards and 24 touchdowns. He is ranked as the nation's No. 51 running back by Rivals.com.
"Right now I am just seeking out all of my options and trying to get it narrowed down to about two or three schools," Rocker said. "I will make a decision when I know I have found the right place."
