Rocco rolls right along

One of the fastest rising tackle prospects in Ohio is 6-foot-7, 280-pound offensive tackle Rocco Cironi from Warren (Ohio) Harding. The three-star prospect went from just a handful of offers early in the process to being chased by Big 12 and Big 10 teams.
“I have lined up visits to Indiana on December 3, Kansas on December 10 and Michigan State on December 17,” Cironi said.

“I just also sent film out to Michigan and Notre Dame, so I’m going to wait and see what they have to say about it. I’ve been hearing a lot of good stuff from people like Michigan State, Vanderbilt, Indiana, Kansas, and Cincinnati is also right there. I’m not going to be worried about taking a visit down there because I’ve been there before.”
Cironi said he and his teammates have pretty much locked up a spot in the playoffs and a victory on Friday would assure that Harding takes the No. 3 spot in their region. However a battle next week against Tyrell Sutton is looming on the horizon.
“He’s awesome,” Cironi said. “He had like 500 yards and eight touchdowns in one game. Northwestern is getting a good one there.”
