Robinson will wait till September

Philadelphia (Pa.) Northeast Catholic star Daryl Robinson committed to West Virginia, then de-committed in early May. Robinson, who says he is back to wide open on his college choice, expects to receive several new scholarship offers in the not too distant future.
"There's a lot of schools I'm interested in," Robinson said. "West Virginia, Connecticut, Colorado, Maryland, Virginia, Michigan, Rutgers, Penn State, and Temple are some of them. West Virginia, Temple and Connecticut have offered."

Robinson thinks at least a couple of the schools he mentioned are on the verge of offering.
"I should be getting a couple more offers in the next week or so," he said. "Maryland is coming to my school (today). When they come out I think they are going to offer. Penn State said they're probably going to offer in a week or two."
Robinson attended the NIKE Football Training Camp at Penn State Saturday and feels that could bring a couple additional scholarship offers.
"Colorado and Michigan said they saw me there and just need to see some film," Robinson said.
When asked if he has a favorite, Robinson said, "I wanted to open up the recruiting process again. I'll probaby wait till September and have a press conference to announce a decision."
The 5-foot-10 and 161-pound Robinson made 62 tackles and intercepted five passes during his junior season. He also rushed for 546 yards and had 223 yards receiving.
"I want to play cornerback and return punts and kickoffs in college," Robinson said.
