Robinson returns from Va. Tech

Rock Hill (S.C.) Northwestern defensive back Jamie Robinson saw his stock increase more than just about any prospect in America over the last two months of the process. Recently he narrowed his list down to two schools, Virginia Tech and Florida State and this weekend he took his final official visit to Blacksburg.
"I did not make a decision this weekend," Robinson said. "The visit went well and I had a lot of fun while I was there. My host was Corey Holt and he showed me around and we had a good time. I got to talk to all of the coaches and they told me to be ready to play next year if I sign with them, they think that I can have an immediate impact."

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Robinson runs the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and is the No. 6 rated cornerback in the nation and the No. 66 player overall by Rivals.com.
"I would rate the visit up there a nine and it and Florida State were probably about the same," Robinson said. "I probably won't have anything until signing day because I really am torn, but I'm going to talk with my family and think some things over tonight and if I feel good enough about a decision then I will go ahead and get it over with."
