Favorite Schools: Robinson is getting attention at this early stage from several in-state schools including Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Christian and Texas Tech. Oklahoma State has also expressed some interest in Robinson as well as many others.
Skinny: Robinson earned all-district honors for his skills as a running back, but his skills in catching the ball could lead him to playing wide receiver in college.
“Clarence has really good hands,” Corsicana coach Jeff Berry said. “He’s proved he can run out on the field too. He’s big enough and fast enough to play wide out.
“We want him to get his hands on the ball as much as we can. That’s why he plays at running back for us. He is right there and gets more touches that way. He has even played quarterback for us in the past.”
Berry isn’t afraid to declare his stand out athlete one of the state’s best.
“He’ll be one of the top 100 guys in the state of Texas for this next fall. When this is over, he’ll be right up there with some of the top guys out there.”
