Robinson proud of Army Bowl choice
After a dominant performance in camp settings this summer, A'Shawn Robinson was awarded a fifth star, which is something all elite prospects want beside their name.

On Thursday, the 6-5, 304-pound accomplished another huge feat for a high school football player when he proudly raised a jersey that signified his status as an Army All-American.
The Texas commitment's rare blend of athleticism -- he was dunking a basketball early in high school -- and strength makes him one of the best defensive linemen in the country.
When people see a player of Robinson's size, they just assume that he's a lot of strength and a little athleticism, but that's not the case.
However, Robinson isn't that concerned with his ranking. He just wants to do his job on the field.
"It's not up to me where they rank me," he said. "It's just me going out there to play, doing what I have to do to accomplish the goal for me and my team."
For Robinson, being able to participate in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl is something he's very proud of. The standout prospect from Fort Worth (Texas) Arlington Heights takes a lot of pride in being selected to participate in the game, especially being a product from the Lone Star state.
"Because of my attitude and effort," said Robinson when asked why he thought he was chosen to be an Army All-American. "I made myself proud, my family proud and my teammates proud today. I can showcase what I have and represent (Arlington) Heights as a school down there in San Antonio at the Army game."
Recently, the Texas commitment grabbed headlines in the recruiting world with his surprise official visit to Florida State for last weekend's marquee game against Clemson. Should Texas fans worry about their five-star commitment, and are more visits coming?
"It's a school I've been thinking about," Robinson said about Florida State. "I couldn't take the visit (earlier) because I had family issues, so when I got the chance I took the visit. It's a good school overall. The game was good. But I'm still committed to Texas. I'm taking two other visits to Alabama and USC."
Robinson didn't have specific dates picked out for those visits, and reiterated that he's still a Texas commit. He also stated that he's still in constant contact with Texas coach Mack Brown and defensive line coach Bo Davis.
Will the Longhorns also get a visit from their stud defensive tackle commitment as well?
Robinson didn't have a date picked out, but was very confident it would happen soon.
"No," responded the standout prospect from Arlington Heights when asked if had a specific Texas game picked out that he wanted to attend. "I just know I'm going to Texas soon."
