Robinson plans to now take his time

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Pompano Beach (Fla.) Blanche Ely four-star cornerback Rashard Robinson claims five offers - Florida State, LSU, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Syracuse - at this time, but believes he is on the verge of more.
"Tennessee and Miami are coming pretty hard," Robinson said. "Florida has shown a lot of interest. FIU, FAU, USF, and UCF are also showing interest."

At this point in the process, three schools that have offered stand out.
"Florida State, LSU, and Oklahoma," Robinson said. "Those are my main ones."
One of those three is his leader, at this stage.
"To be honest, I can probably say LSU and then it is either Oklahoma or Florida State right now," Robinson said. "LSU is on top right now."
The 6-foot-2, 163-pound defensive back plans to hit the road in the coming months to check out a few of his options.
"I am going to FSU next week," Robinson said. "I am going to LSU on July 15th. I also plan to go to Miami as well."
Robinson also mentioned a possible visit to Florida International during the summer as well. He hopes to eventually visit Iowa State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Syracuse. He said Florida State, LSU, and Ohio State are likely official visit destinations in the fall.
Entering the spring, Robinson was on the verge of making a pledge to the LSU Tigers. Now, he says he is hoping to hold out until this coming February to make an announcement.
"I am going to try to hold out until Signing Day," Robinson said.
He said that he will allow the process to play out and see how his recruitment progresses during his senior season.
"To be honest, only time can tell," Robinson said. "I am just sitting back and watching, trying to see whoever gives me the most interest. Whatever school I am comfortable with and that feels like home, that is what school I am going to."
