Robinson on verge of commitment

It looks like the recruiting process has just about to come to an end for Minneapolis (Minn.) DeLaSalle running back Alexander Robinson. Robinson has made two official visits.
"I've been to Wyoming and Iowa State," Robinson said. "I'm probably going to cancel Minnesota. I'm supposed to visit there this weekend."

But it looks like Robinson is going to play for the Cyclones.
"I'm pretty much sold on Iowa State," he said. "But I haven't committed yet.
"I called Wyoming and told them. But they said they're not going to pull my offer till I commit somewhere else."
Robinson made his official visit to Iowa State this past weekend.
"I always liked Iowa State, but the visit really confirmed it," Robinson said. "The visit went really well. The people made me feel at home. There is an opportunity to contribute right away if I work hard."
Robinson was impressed with the academics at Iowa State as well.
"They are building a new business center," he said. "That's what I plan on majoring in. Having new facilities would be nice. I like their business department."
The 5-foot-10 and 168 pound Robinson had a big senior season. Robinson rushed for 2300 yards and 31 touchdowns while averaging over 11 yards per carry. On the other side of the ball Robinson intercepted two passes in leading his team to a 10-2 record.
Robinson is the No. 10 prospect in the state of Minnesota in the Rivals.com player rankings.
