After weathering through a losing season in 2005, Robinson help lead his team to a successful year with his leadership and versatility.
His success is finally being recognized. Robinson has been offered by Iowa State recently after receiving offers from the likes of Stephen F. Austin and McNeese State.
"I think he could be a defensive back or a tremendous receiver," Texas City coach Tim Finn said. "He has great hands and track speed. He also has great grades to go with it."
Robinson will begin the defense of the Stingaree's state championship title this spring, but his college choice will come first.
"I know he'd like to stay close to home and go to Houston, but he hasn't heard from them," Finn said. "We'll see what happens."
