The South Florida prospect was happy to get an offer from Al Golden's Hurricanes.
"It is a great school and an awesome place to get an offer from," Robinson said. "It means a lot."
Robinson has been in regular contact with a member of Golden's staff since he visited the school last week.
"I was speaking with Coach (Terry) Richardson and we have been talking the past couple of days, staying in contact with one another," Robinson said. "He just told me that he likes me a lot and I am a hybrid player because of my speed and my height. He said I would be a great defensive back at the University of Miami. He wants me to be a part of the Miami family."
The offer is Robinson's sixth, joining Florida State, LSU, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, and Syracuse. He previously named a top three of Florida State, LSU, and Oklahoma. The Hurricanes are now joining that trio.
"They are right there with them," Robinson said. "Right now everyone is up there with me."
Robinson plans to visit Miami with his family in early August. As for a decision date, he says he isn't working with a hard timeline at the moment.
