Robey heads north tomorrow to camp

Nickell Robey is a talented two-way prospect that also excels on special teams. Robey, 5-8 and 165 pounds, is one of the top athletes from the Sunshine State. He wants to play cornerback and tomorrow he's off to Knoxville to show the Tennessee coaches what he has.
"I am leaving for Tennessee tomorrow to go camp with the Vols," Robey said. "I'm excited. It will be my first time up there. I like their tradition and I could play for a guy like (defensive coordinator) Monte Kiffin. He's a great coach that did it in the NFL and he will do it at Tennessee."

Robey, from Frostproof High School, just got back from camping at the University of Florida. He was very pleased with his performance in Gainesville.
"Yeah, I camped at Florida today. It went real good. They like my ball skills and how I break (on the ball) and how I catch the ball. I ran 4.4 (forty) and they said it was a slow track today."
Later this month Robey heads to South Bend to camp at Notre Dame. It's another visit he's very excited about.
"I am going to Notre Dame at the end of the month and I will hit them for a one day camp. I love the tradition there. So many great players came from Notre Dame. You will also get a great education. All thumbs up for Notre Dame. I can't wait."
Robey has scholarship offers Clemson, Florida, Georgia, West Virginia, South Florida, Virginia Tech, Michigan, Ohio State, Stanford, Tennessee and others. Over the past few months he has been to Florida, USF and Georgia for unofficial visits.
"I hope to have a top five by the time the summer ends, after I see some schools. I know I will have a better idea then."
