Robertson talks first offer

Zach Robertson worked out at USC this summer and was expecting an offer right after that camp but he had to wait a while longer to hear back from the Trojans.
When the 2015 offensive lineman from Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco recently talked with the USC coaching staff, the good news was delivered and the Trojans will definitely be taken seriously as things move forward for him.

It's his first offer and it's a major one.
"It's a big opportunity for me," Robertson said. "It definitely hit me. To know my first offer came from USC is definitely a big thing.
"I was supposed to get the offer after the USC linemen camp in the summer. I worked out there. They finally got a hold of me and they told me to call them so I called them and they gave me the offer."
USC is the first offer for Robertson, a 6-foot-5, 308-pound offensive guard, who has not played yet for St. John Bosco this season yet because of transfer rules but it's not the only school recruiting him.
The massive lineman said he took an unofficial visit to Cal last weekend for its season opener against Northwestern and now the Golden Bears are also involved.
Cal has not offered yet but Robertson is definitely interested especially after taking a trip to Berkeley last weekend.
"I was at Cal last week," Robertson said.
"They said they're going to stay in touch with me and everything. It's really good up there. It's a nice facility. They have really good players and it's a nice coaching staff."
