Robertson staying in Pac-12

Zach Robertson has been recruited for so long, he's met so many coaches and something about the Arizona State staff especially stood out.
Their honesty and straightforwardness were big factors for the four-star offensive lineman from Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco on why he committed to the Sun Devils on Friday night.

"I definitely picked ASU because they are a great community, a great football team and just a great city," Robertson said.
"Everybody there is really cool, nice people. The coaches are honest and real. They're the type of coaches who won't sugarcoat it. I liked their honesty and integrity."
Robertson, rated No. 203 in the 2015 class by Rivals.com, has already started to build friendships with current Arizona State players. Their friendliness and likability were also factors for the four-star standout because Robertson felt he could fit in well with the team.
"I've already started to build a bond with most of the players," Robertson said.
"I already text regularly with a bunch of the offensive linemen and I talk to coach (Chris) Thomsen about every other day. The relationships I have with people out there, it's just a great place."
Robertson is happily committed but he does plan to take two other official visits in January. Nothing has been finalized yet but the four-star plans to take a trip to LSU on Jan. 16 and then USC the following weekend.
"I think I'm still going to as of right now," Robertson said.
Rivals.com rates Robertson as the No. 15 offensive guard in the class - the top-rated guard in the West -but he said Arizona State wants him to play offensive tackle for sure.
