Robertson lines up three big visits

That collective sigh of relief you heard from North Texas this past week was from the Dennison supporters when they found out that injured three-star running back Corey Robertson would be playing again. After suffering a knee sprain in a game against Dallas Kimball, Robertson returned to the field last Friday night in a big way.
“I had a pretty good game,” Robertson said. “I had 30 carries for 215 yards and four rushing touchdowns. I also threw for a touchdown and had an interception.”

Not a bad way to make a comeback. Robertson said he was impressed with his return, but he was really excited about his touchdown pass.
“It was just a half-back pass,” he said. “The fullback ran a corner route and I just tossed it up for him. He went up and got it. It was a big play. We ended up winning in overtime.”
On the recruiting front, there was a momentary concern that some teams might shy away from Robertson after he suffered his injury, but that didn’t happen and the same three teams that have been atop his leader board for the past few months remain there and look to be widening the gap on the others.
“I know for sure that I set up a trip to Iowa on December 17,” Robertson said. “And I’m going to Arizona on December 10. I’m thinking that I’m going to visit Colorado on December 3. There is a possibly that those are going to be my only three visits. I talked to my mom and told her that I wanted to make a decision before the start of next year.
“I’m pretty sure that those will be the three I chose from.”
Nebraska, which hasn’t offered, Texas A&M and TCU were the other schools that he had mentioned in previous updates.
