Robertson joins the offer club

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Year after year, the defensive tradition at Port Arthur (Texas) Memorial is quite impressive and rising stars like safety Justin Robertson make that possible.
Robertson, a 6-foot-3, 180-pound defensive back certaintly has the size to be an outstanding Division I prospect. Now that the attention level has picked up, it would be hard to say the top Texas prospect is a secret any longer.

"I've just been working in the off-season to get ready for this fall," Robertson said. "Then all of a sudden offers just showed up. UTEP offered, and then Houston offered so it was pretty incredible."
Another school that looks close to sending a scholarship his way is Arizona. Don't look for this defender to get greedy with offers.
"It's so exciting that it's hard to explain," Robertson said about his first two offers. "I never thought I'd ever be the type of player to get a scholarship and get to go to college. When you love the game as much as I do, it blows you away."
His visits are what's next on his list. While his focus remains on the winning ways of his team first, he's excited to get his recruiting going towards the next stage after the Fox Sports Net Southwest 7-on-7 state championship concluded this past weekend.
"I don't know where I'm visiting, but after all of this my coach and I are going to sit down and go from there," he said.
