Robertson has a clear No. 1

The three offers on the table from Houston, Iowa State, and UTEP are still the only ones in hand for two-star safety Justin Robertson but the sleeper is ready to name a favorite from the group.
Though he has had contact with all of the schools that have offered, Iowa State apparently has surged to the forefront for the 6-foot-3, 180-pound defensive back as of now.

"They seem like a great school," Robertson said about the Cyclones. "It's real family oriented. I talked to coach Mike Nelson for a long time. He likes my size at the cornerback spot with my speed."
"He just kept telling me I'd be great for their secondary."
Robertson has a ways to go though before deciding anything about his college future. Visits are what's next.
"All of my visits will be after my football season," Robertson said. "The schools I'll visit will be Arizona, Iowa, and Iowa State. Iowa just said they're looking at me heavily and Arizona has said they would like to offer me as the season goes along."
The Memorial team, with Robertson on defense, has gotten off to a rocky 0-3 start, but the senior safety has faith.
"We're going to get it together soon," he said. "I've got 17 tackles and one interception. I could have had two, but after I ran one back for a touchdown they called it back."
"We'll get it back though."
