Robertson claims two offers

Linebacker Stephon Robertson out of Alexandria (Va.) Edison pulled in his first two offers. The 5-foot-10, 195-pounder landed the scholarships from a couple I-AA schools and continues to garner interest from a variety of other colleges.
"On November 1st we went to James Madison and after the game they offered a scholarship," Robertson's father, Jeff said. "They sent all the paperwork to the school outlining the offer.

"The following week we went to Delaware and they also offered."
Delaware and James Madison have pulled the trigger, who else is eyeing the Commonwealth prospect.
"Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio, Tennessee, East Carolina have come by the school to talk to his coach," he said. "He's still getting literature from Virginia Tech. I don't know what they are going to do.
"West Virginia is actually interested in him as a safety while ECU wants him as a power running back. All of these schools are evaluating him more."
Robertson plans to take an unofficial visit this weekend to Maryland.
"This will be our fourth game of the year at Maryland. Coach Seamonson invited him back up for the Florida State game. Maryland is still expressing a lot of interest. Coach Seamonson told us he wants Stephon, but it's a numbers game and they'll make a decision on him in December."
Robertson and Edison are in the playoffs right now playing Stone Bridge on Friday.
"That's going to be a dogfight."
Robertson has posted 1,168-yards rushing, 24 touchdowns and averages 11.2 yards per carry. He's posted 118-tackles and three interceptions on defense.
