Robertson adds first Big 12 offer

Port Arthur (Texas) Memorial safety Justin Robertson was satisfied with two offers and even more happy that his third one came through making his first Big 12 offer a reality.
Other highly recruited teammates like Robert Joseph, a Texas commit, have been in the spotlight. However, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound safety is ready to become the next big thing at Memorial.

"I was surprised at all this," Robertson said about his latest offers. "I thought there were only a few teams looking me. I'm just really excited about all of the options."
Robertson explained that he doesn't know as much as he would like to about each school, so for now he's looking at each one evenly. One thing he has thought about are his fall trips.
One team that hasn't offered is LSU, but Robertson wants to check it out.
"It seems like a nice program," Robertson said. "Coach (Bradley Dale) Peveto was down at our school a while back. I got a chance to talk to him later on and he said they would watch me during my football season."
Not to be bothered by recruiting, though Robertson is happy about his new scholarship offers, he wants to make sure that PA Memorial is the primary focus.
That attitude has the team playing as one.
"We've got more unity this year and I think we're going to perform well because of it," he said. "I haven't thought about decisions or anything. I'm just trying to worry about my football season right now."
