Roberts misses visit, sets another
After the first official visit to Indiana, the 6-foot, 220-pound Lufkin, Texas outside linebacker Mandela Roberts had a clear leader. He was supposed to make his second trip to UTEP this past weekend, but that did not take place.
The two-star defender wants to get out there if possible in the near future.

"I didn't get a chance to go out there," Roberts said. "I missed the flight and I'm going to try to set it up again."
Roberts has Rice coming up on Jan. 20 for an official visit.
"It's kind of funny, but the weekend I was going to head to Indiana the Rice coach came by the school and I got an offer," Roberts said. "Now, I'm just ready to check them out on this visit."
Though he's interested in both in-state schools, Indiana still holds the leader position.
"Yeah, they're still the favorite," he said. "They have great facilities and I have a chance to play early. Plus, you've got some good players up there."
