Roberts has an idea where hell end up

Cleveland (Ohio) Benedictine wide receiver/tight end Mike Roberts accumulated close to double digit scholarship offers during the course of his recruitment, but with National Signing Day looming the three-star prospect is focused on one school in particular.
"I think it's Ohio, but I won't know until I get down there," Roberts said. "I'm taking a visit to Ohio after my SAT on the 28th. This will be my first [official]. I've looked at the campus on-line, and I'm going down there to see it for myself, so we'll see how things go."

Although he has not been to Ohio University's campus yet, Roberts has had several discussions with the Bobcats' coaching staff and likes what he has heard.
"They have a plan and that's what they are going to stick to, so I like that about them," Roberts said.
Offers had come in during the course of the process from the likes of Cincinnati, UConn, Kansas, Louisville and N.C. State, but most of those programs have since exited the picture.
"I don't really keep in contact with many of them," Roberts said. "Pretty much, I only really talk to the MAC and a little of the Big East."
Specific schools Roberts has spoken with in the past few weeks include Nebraska, Toledo, Bowling Green and Ohio. Nebraska started showing interest in Roberts towards the end of his senior season, and has continued to maintain contact.
"I still talk to them and they were just at my school not too long ago," Roberts said. "They said they want me at their school."
Nebraska has not extended an offer, however, and Roberts is not sure if he will have time to visit them even if they do. He is looking at wrapping up his process on Feb. 1.
"I think I want to sign on Signing Day," he said. "It's been a long process and I've changed my mind a couple times, but I'll know in a couple weeks where I want to be."
