Previously Smithfield, Va. running back Dyrell Roberts claimed two offers from Virginia and Virginia Tech. A new school has entered the mix to offer the 6-foot-2, 190-pounder.
"I just got an offer from East Carolina," he said. "A lot of other schools have been recruiting me recently. Maryland is on me now along with Vanderbilt and North Carolina State has been sending stuff."

"In April I'll probably go to Virginia again and Virginia Tech," he said. "I may end up going to Florida sometime after May 5th too. I'm just getting ready to go to places.
"On the visits, I want to go out and see how the school is. I want the coaches to tell me what my responsibility is when I get there and if I'll be able to play. What position I play, doesn't matter to me. I just want to play."
Last season Roberts ran for 1,166 yards and 14 touchdowns. He posted 10 interceptions on defense.
