Rivals250 WR visits Maryland

Rivals250 wide receiver Brandon Coleman took an official visit over the weekend. The 6-foot-6, 200-pounder made his way to Maryland on his second consecutive official visit in recent weeks. What did he think?
"It was pretty good," he said. "It was different and by that I mean I had a basketball tournament on Saturday and because of some rules I couldn't spend time with the coaches. It limited some of my time, but I still got to see a lot of things and talk to a lot of people.

"I talked to the athletic director and somebody in the admissions office along with the dean. All of those conversations went well."
Coleman also spent time with his host, Cameron Chism.
"It was cool," he said. "Cameron and I went to the same school together and we still talk sometimes. He told me how it was a rough year this season, but he feels they'll be really good soon and they just need a couple more pieces."
Outside of that, Coleman spent time with the coaches.
"I talked to Coach Hull about what they can offer me and how much he wants me there," he said. "I would have to say after the visit I have an even better relationship with the coaching staff. I just felt more comfortable with them and it was cool."
From here, the four-star prospect has one more visit set in January.
"I'm going on my next visit, my final visit to Syracuse on January 15th," he said. "I just want to get a feel for the program and see what Syracuse is all about."
Between now and then, Coleman will participate in the Under Armor All-American Game in January.
"I'm just very excited to have that opportunity and be able to represent the state of Maryland. I just want to go down there and have fun and play my game."
