Rivals250 WR makes a decision

A decision is in for Rivals250 to watch wide receiver Nigel King. The Raleigh (N.C.) Wakefield prospect gave his commitment earlier this evening while on an unofficial visit at the school.
"I just committed to Maryland," he said. "The coaches were standing right here and everyone was excited."

What made King pull the trigger on a decision?
"I've always liked them and wanted to see it for myself," he said. "I'm still up on my visit and basically I got everything I needed to hear in a school. I liked the players and I developed a relationship with the coaches.
"I liked the campus too and I know they have good academics. I want a good education because I plan on graduating."
King discussed the coaching staff further.
"They're just real," he said. "They are honest and they, I'm not of the right words for it, but they were more caring for me than any other coaches."
King believes he'll get a significant chance for playing time early in his career.
"I think I'll have a big role because the wide receivers there now won't be there when I arrive."
The North Carolina prospect confirmed he plans to graduate early.
The 6-foot-3, 199-pounder selected the Terrapins over offers from Colorado, East Carolina, Louisville, LSU, North Carolina, NC State, South Carolina and West Virginia.
