Rivals250 WR is patiently waiting

The recruitment of Rivals250 wide receiver Demetrius Johnson has been slow, possibly due to an injury plagued junior season. Despite a slow recruitment, the Annapolis (Md.) Annapolis Christian School product is keeping his head up and working hard to show he deserves more than the few offers he has right now.
"I've been training and getting better," said the 6-foot-2, 202-pound. Johnson. "I'm doing a lot of 7-on-7 tournaments. I just did the one at Maryland. I thought I did pretty well but we lost in the first round of the playoffs.

Johnson only has offers from Maryland, Syracuse, N.C. State, Marshall, Old Dominion and Hawaii but he is focusing on three of them.
"Maryland is in first then it's Old Dominion and Marshall," he said. "Everything is going well with all three but I haven't really talked to any colleges recently. I'm probably going to go visit Old Dominion some time this summer. I'm still trying to figure out if I'm going to go up to Marshall."
Usually players name a short list when they are getting close to making a decision but Johnson said that would not make any announcement in the near future.
"I'll announce my decision on signing day but I'll probably have my mind made up before then," said Johnson.
If Johnson picks up more offers before signing day, those schools could get a serious look from Johnson.
"I'll consider other schools but I'll have to do my research," he said. "I'm not really hearing from any other schools right now."
Johnson recently visited Robert Morris.
