Rivals250 WR decides

Rivals250 wide receiver Brandon Coleman made his choice earlier today. The 6-foot-6, 200-pounder decided to go with his gut as he decided between Maryland and Rutgers.
"It was real close, both schools had what I was looking for," he said. "I just went to where I felt more comfortable. I picked Rutgers."

Coleman told Rutgers coaches and it didn't surprise the head coach.
"Coach Schiano told me that he had a feeling I was going to come there," he said. "All the coaches were happy and excited."
A few factors played into Coleman's choice.
"I just felt comfortable about everything, the people, the football program, the players and the academics part of it," he stated. "Everybody tries to make a big deal of Coach Susan and Jenkins leaving, but I look at it as it says a lot about their program that other people want them to be their head coaches.
"The players were big as well. On my visit I felt comfortable with the and something clicked especially with Mohamed Sanu."
Overall Coleman is happy to be done with the process and now looks forward to possibly earning time as a freshman.
"I just want the opportunity to play," he said. "Obviously they don't have a problem playing freshmen. It's out there for me."
