Every team covets speed at the wide receiver position. With a personal best of a 10.15 second 100-meter dash, Rivals250 receiver Anthony Schwartz has speed to burn. The Planation (Fla.) American Heritage stand out is almost ready for his commitment.

IN HIS OWN WORDS…

“I'm very close to making a decision,” Schwartz said. “My decision will probably come in the next couple of weeks. I was at five schools and now I'm about to get down to two schools. My five was Florida, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, and LSU. I don't have official visits planned yet.

“Florida is pretty much home,” he said. “I've been a fan of them since I was a kid I'm doing great things the sports.

“At Auburn I feel like I have a great opportunity there,” said Schwartz. “They don't have a lot of receivers so I feel like I could try to start right away.

“Georgia is a really good team,” he said. “I've always loved Georgia. They have an up-and-coming track program too.

“LSU just puts people in the league,” Schwartz said. “I feel like I can be a part of that.

“I feel like Tennessee has some of the best wide receivers every year,” he said. “Their track team is pretty good too.

RIVALS’ REACTION

Schwartz isn’t a polished receiver but his game-changing speed makes him someone college coaches drool over. Florida is the favorite here and it seems like the other teams will have a hard time catching up. The Gators have a need at wide receiver and their track team is one of the best in the country.
