Missouri City (Texas) Fort Bend Marshall Rivals250 to Watch defensive back Kendall Sheffield is as desired a prospect as they get. His offer list is long and growing, as is his list of accolades.
The 6-foot, 165-pound standout has kept busy this fall between his own high school games and trips, which included stops at the likes of Texas A&M, Alabama, Texas, and Oklahoma State. On Saturday he made another trip as he headed to Waco, Texas to take in the action between Baylor and Texas.
"It was good. It was exciting," Sheffield said of the game day atmosphere at Baylor. "It was the last game in the stadium. All the fans were up and cheering and everything like that."
Sheffield was able to talk to a few football coaches and he was also able to meet a few track coaches as well.
Of all of his visits this fall, he enjoyed each of them equally and when asked about his favorites, he again declared everyone was on equal ground.
Sheffield currently holds offers from Baylor, Florida, Houston, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, TCU, Texas, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, LSU, and Wisconsin.
This summer Sheffield was one of a select few underclassmen selected to participate in the Rivals100 Five-Star Challenge at Soldier Field in Chicago.
