Rivals250 safety cuts his list

It's been a couple weeks since four-star safety Spencer Adams took his second official visit to North Carolina. Rivals caught up with Matthews (N.C.) Butler head coach Mike Newsome to find out the latest on his star prospect.
"Spencer is kind of lying low," he said. "He went up to North Carolina the weekend before last and had a good visit. I think he's concentrating on playing in the playoffs, and doing extremely well. Once he gets that finished he'll look to more visits.

"He does have one more official set at this time to Florida on November 24th, the weekend of the Florida State game."
Does the Rivals250 prospect have any leaders?
"I think he's narrowed his choices down somewhat," he said. "I think he definitely likes Clemson, Florida, North Carolina and Michigan. He's kind of wide open though and will take his officials.
"He's got some weeks there in December before the dead period. I think he'll be taking his final visits then before making a decision around the first of the year. He plans to play in the ESPN All-American game and once he gets back from that I think he'll have a better idea of what he is going to do."
