Rivals250 receiver has a couple of early favorites

Alief (Texas) Taylor Rivals250 wide receiver Keenen Brown continues to grab the attention of college coaches with the latest offers coming from Iowa State and Wake Forest.
After some recent conversations, it also looks like Florida will be stopping by to check him out in the near future.

The 6-3, 185-pound standout has not had a lot of time to take visits between track, the Rivals Camp Series and the Nike Camp, but he does have a visit coming up soon.
"I'm probably going to go to the LSU spring game," Brown said. "I've been out there like two or three times. I'm going to check out their new offense."
LSU has been on his mind and it does not hurt that LSU commit and Brown's Alief Taylor teammate Chris Hardeman is always there to talk about the Tigers program.
Brown did admit it might be hard to resist making a decision while in Baton Rouge next weekend, but for now the plans is to wait until after his senior season to make a decision.
Still, the Tigers, along with the Oklahoma Sooners, have made a big impression and currently stand out among his list of schools.
"It's close to home and they put a lot of guys in the NFL," Brown said of LSU. "I've always liked their program because they put a lot of guys out. They said they're changing their offense to a passing offense and if they do that it's perfect."
"I like the coaching staff a lot," he said of Oklahoma. "They send a lot of handwritten letters and they've sent a lot of receivers to the NFL. And they're close too."
Brown does not currently have a visit scheduled to Oklahoma, but has been talking to the Sooner staff and will probably take a visit to Norman in the near future.
He is also planning to attend camp at Oklahoma, and Brown also mentioned Missouri, West Virginia, and Michigan State as possible visit destinations.
In the meantime, he is gearing up for the UIL Area track meet on Friday. Brown will compete in the 4x100m and the high jump and may also run the 4x200m.
