Rivals250 running back Josh Adams out of Cary, N.C. has helped his team to a 7-1 record including a tough 17-12 victory last week at Middle Creek. This week the 6-foot-0, 170-pounder with 4.58-second speed faces a team he hasn't had a lot of luck against in his high school career in Green Hope.
"Two years ago I couldn't play against them because I tore my meniscus and last year they held me without a touchdown," he said. "I'm coming out this year to see what they got. I want to have a good game against them.
"So far this season I've run for 1,300 yards and 18 touchdowns. I'm happy with my performance as it's not just me, but a lot of guys are chipping in to help this team win."
Not much has changed for the four-star prospect in recruiting, although he did take unofficials to East Carolina and North Carolina State.
"I went to the Southern Miss-ECU game and the North Carolina-NC State game," he said. "They were both different, but both of the teams did run the ball a lot. ECU moved the ball well and played hard, but mistakes killed them and Southern Miss capitalized. Meanwhile, the North Carolina-North Carolina State game was crazy. Both were able to run the ball well and State's Toney Baker did a good job out there playing to his potential."
Adams hasn't begun to consider official visits yet.

I'm not paying much attention to recruiting or letters. I've got to focus on school, my grades and football. I also still have to take the SAT and ACT after the season as well."Here to view this Link.
