Rivals250 RB decommits

Marrero (La.) John Ehret Rivals250 running back Darrel Williams gave his commitment to Arizona State in late August, and he saw quite a bit to like about the Sun Devil program.
However, since making his Pac-12 decision he has seen the SEC attention grow and he has not hidden his desire to take other official visits. Thursday, after much thought and consideration, he decided to make a hard decision and decommit from the Arizona State Sun Devils for a few reasons.

"To be honest with you Arizona State has an official visit policy for commitments and that's one thing," John Ehret assistant coach Shawn Galmore said. "And two it's close to home, the distance from his family, he has some health issues with his family, and the SEC. His family was the main thing though."
So what is next for the four-star standout?
He has already welcomed LSU and Tennessee for in-home visits and at this point one official visit is on his schedule.
"His next visit is going to be Tennessee," Coach Galmore said. "I won't know for sure until tonight because if the family can free up some things they are going to take it tomorrow. If not it will be on (January) 24th."
Due to family reasons, he will not be able to take an official visit December 13. There is also a possibility that he takes an official visit to Florida.
Williams does not plan to make a decision until he takes his final official visit.
