Rivals250 RB adds two new scholies

Rivals250 to watch Class of 2008 running back Lamaar Thomas has added two new offers recently. The 5-foot-10, 166-pounder out of Fort Washington (Md.) Friendly is up to five scholarships.
"I've got offers from Illinois, Maryland, Ohio State, Syracuse and Boston College," he said. "I haven't really talked to anyone from Syracuse that much, but Boston College I talk to them through text messages every day. I like their situation as far as running back is concerned and they are recruiting Josh (Haden) and me."
Despite the new offers, Thomas claims there are still no favorites.

"Everything is the same to me," he said. "I am considering going on a visit though to Boston College, March 25th. I just want to go and see more about the school. I haven't gotten a chance to sit down and meet the coaches. I'd like to talk to them more."
With plenty of colleges interested, what does the Maryland tailback want out of a school?
"I'm going to look at the depth chart at running back. I want to play as soon as possible," he said. "I'll also see the coaches and how I get along with them. The one thing that probably won't be an issue is distance."
Next month, Thomas plans to attend the Nike Camp in New Jersey.
