Rivals250 QB back from Oregon

Oregon landed a verbal commitment from a quarterback in the 2016 class last week and then hosted one of the best prospects in next year's group during the weekend.

Four-star quarterback Ryan Kelley from Chandler (Ariz.) Basha added an offer from the Ducks late in the summer and that sparked enough interest to make it up the coast for an unofficial visit to see Oregon take on Washington State.
The Ducks fell in dramatic fashion but, by all indications, it was still a very productive trip for the Rivals250 prospect.
Amazing visit this weekend in Oregon, I'd like to thank all the coaches for having my family and me🐣🐥 #WTD #GoDucks pic.twitter.com/352rZzyUty— ⚡️RK⚡️ (@Ryankelley_14) October 13, 2015
WHAT'S NEXT?: The 6-foot-2, 173-pound Kelley suffered an injury two weeks ago and was unable to make his planned visit to see two of his other suitors -- UCLA and Arizona State -- at the Rose Bowl in California. He intends to reschedule that trip to see the Bruins in action at some point in the next couple weeks, though it is all contingent on his own football season.
IN HIS WORDS: "The Oregon trip was excellent," Kelley told Rivals.com. "There are so many things to to pick from, but I really loved coming out of the tunnel before the game and seeing all the fans in their stadium and watching the team warm up. I really liked seeing how into the game the fans were and how hyped they were getting. I'm still evaluating and investigating all the other schools, but Oregon is up near the top of the list of favorites for sure.
"With UCLA, we haven't set a date yet but my parents and I would like to go see a game some time soon."
RIVALS' REACTION: Kelley has also drawn visits from Oregon State and Washington this season, so he is certainly one of the most coveted quarterbacks in the West region for next year's class. The Sun Devils are the local option and they have prioritized him, so they are definitely a contender along with the Bruins and Ducks. Kelley, who is the only signal caller Oregon has offered in his class, told Rivals.com he is planning to announce a decision either right before the season ends or right after, so his recruitment appears to be in the final stages.
