Rivals250 OL up to 30 offers

The Beehive State has two of the best offensive linemen in country for the Class of 2009. One of them is Xavier Su'a Filo (6-5, 285, 4.9) from Provo (Utah) Timpview. He already has approximately 30 offers on the table from a very diverse group of schools that hail from coast-to-coast.
Just a small sampling of schools that have offered Su'a Filo are LSU, Miami, USC, Stanford, BYU, Colorado, Notre Dame and UCLA.

Su'a Filo earned first team all-state for his junior season and even had some votes for the State's Mr. Football Award. He did tally the most votes for the all-state team out of all the other offensive linemen in the state.
In the weight room, Su'a Filo's current bench press is 350 pounds, he squats 450, power cleans 300 and has recorded a 28-inch vertical.
It is pretty easy to understand why there is so much intense interest in the talented behemoth from Utah.
"Xavier has everything you want in an offensive lineman," Timpview coach Louis Wong said. "He runs very well.
"When he pulls, he knocks the first guy over and then he will get the next guy," Wong added. "He's also good in pass protection. He has great feet and long arms and he can set up defenders.
As for Su'a Filo's summer plans, they are still up in the air.
"Xavier went to USC's camp after his freshman year and LSU last year and did very well. He could end up back at those two schools, but it's not set in stone," Wong said. "He might want to go to other schools or may not go to any camps. It is undetermined at this point.
"Xavier would like to take some unofficial visits, possibly to Miami, Florida and Colorado, he's not sure exactly where. He already took unofficial visits to LSU and Stanford.
However, Su'a Filo knows what he's looking for in a school.
"The big call for him when it comes down to a decision will be trusting his head coach. He will also be looking for how many offensive linemen the school puts in the NFL," Wong said.
"Another consideration will be how easy the school's access will be for his parents to come and see his games. Meaning how easy will be able to fly to his games."
One thing to keep in mind is Su'a Filo is a member of the LDS church and there's the possibility he may take a mission, but that is still up in the air.
