Rivals250 OL and former Georgia commit sets UCF official visit

Just a day after backing off his pledge to the University of Georgia, four-star Fairburn (Ga.) Creekside offensive lineman Aaron Dowdell has set an official visit to UCF. Dowdell originally committed to Georgia in February and declined to take visits or entertain other offers until failing to develop chemistry with the new coaching staff in Athens.

After de-committing from Georgia, Dowdell picked up several offers, with the Knights joining a list that includes Florida, Ole Miss and Mississippi State. His plans for the last weekend before Signing Day are still unclear, but UCF has a chance to take the lead to land the 6-foot-3, 305-pound prospect with an impressive visit this weekend.
